A different celebration

Empty a stadium, fill it with feelings.

Johnnie Walker asked us to write a television commercial starring former Yankees player Jorge Posada. The idea was to use the commercial for both the general and Hispanic markets. We had to celebrate the success of his career, but Johnnie Walker still had to be the main character in the story.

After a lot of thinking and writing, we decided to recreate the extremely emotional moment when the player says goodbye to the stadium that had witnessed his triumphs over so many years.

The Johnnie Walker team—directors, executives, and account managers—loved it, and the commercial was a success both online and on the huge screen at Yankee Stadium. A home run.
