This was a fun one! @checkinmela, one of the funniest and most talented Latina influencers (with 1M followers on IG), reached out to me to partner with her and write a pilot for Amazon Music.
The idea was to bring the Madame Mela universe to a new format: an interview show with a fun, short, and catchy vibe. Our goal was to find the sweet spot between Chicken Shop Date and Love Island, with Mela’s unique sense of humor at the heart of it.
We worked together to define the segments and content, write the script, plan the social media launch, and produce the episode. Our first guest was singer Alvaro Diaz. We shot the episode in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and it was edited by Shake It Easy Media in Miami.
